Karma Dhagpo Gyurme Ling is one of the oldest Buddhist centers of His Holiness, the XVII Karmapa in Europe. It was founded in 1978 by His Holiness, Rangjung Rigpe Dorje, the XVI Karmapa, who gave the center its name with the above calligraphy. Since then, most of the great Rinpoches and many authentic lamas of the Karma Kagyu lineage have taught in Munich.
The center is under the spiritual direction of the Venerable Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche.
