The Kagyü-Dharma Verlag was established in the early days of the Community. From the beginning, its purpose was to publish Buddhist literature and texts that were supposed to be published in German, but for which no commercial publisher could be found.

The publisher is a company of the Karma Kagyu Community Germany e.V. at the office of the Community:
